Dear friends, I am going to share with you another new version of recipe for making the cucumber pickle( O-i-ji/)醃渍黄瓜 /오이지. "Soju(Korean wine) will be one of the ingredients !!
We can buy the cucumber pickle at the Korean supermarket in package form too. In summer, this is the harvest season  for cucumbers,therefore, Korean make many cucumber pickle for storage. We slice the cucumber pickle, marinate it with seasoning or add in mineral water, ice, sesame seeds ,vinegar to eat. One of the favourite food for Korean in summer..
亲爱的朋友们,今天将与您分享另一种制作 cucumber pickle( O-i-ji/)醃渍黄瓜 /오이지.  韩式烧酒将是其中的材料之一 !!
在韩国超市可以买到真空包装的醃渍黄瓜。夏天是黄瓜盛产的季节,所以韩国人在夏天都大量醃渍黄瓜。已醃好的黄瓜,可用来凉拌或切片后,加入矿泉水,冰块,芝麻,醋,是韩国人在夏天喜欢的凉食。。。。

                                  I bought 50 pieces of cucumbers for making " O-i-ji"
                                  我买了 50 条黄瓜用来醃渍黄瓜 “O-i-ji"


                                   Wash and drain the cucumbers...
                                   洗干净黄瓜,待干。。


Mix all the ingredients in a big bowl with boiling it. Stir until the sugar and salt are dissolved.
将所有的材料混合均匀,糖和盐必须完全溶解, 无需煮沸。


                        Place the cucumbres in big container and pour in the sauce
                       将黄瓜放入容器内, 然后倒入酱料。

The cucumbres will be floating after pouring in the sauce, therefore, is better to put one or two big stones on the surface. If you don;t have stones, you can use a bowl or plate to substitute it.
倒入酱料后,黄瓜会浮现在上面, 所以最好是放一或两块石头在水面上, 若无石头,可以放入一个小碗或碟子。


Ingredients :
cucumbers 50 pieces
Korean wine " Soju "  900 ml
vinegar 900 ml
sugar 1 kg
salt  6 cups


Method :
1. Wash and drain the cucumbers.
2. Mix all the ingredients in a big bowl with boiling it. Stir until the sugar and salt are dissolved.
3. Place the cucumbres in big container and pour in the sauce.
4. The cucumbres will be floating after pouring in the sauce, therefore, is better to put one or two big stones on the surface. If you don;t have stones, you can use a bowl or plate to substitute it.
5. Put at the shady place for about 7 days, if the weather is hot, on the surface of the salted water, it will appear one layer of white fungus, must remove the fungus, put it the refrigerator for storage.

 How to eat  cucumber pickle

Ingredients:
cucumber pickle 2 pieces

Seasoning:
red pepper powder 2 tsp
sugar 1 tsp
garlic 2 tsp, minced
spring onion 2 Tsp, chopped
sesame oil 2 tsp
sesame seeds 1 1/2 tsp

Method:
1. Slice the cucumber pickle, soak in the water for a few minutes, the purpose is to remove the salt. Please don't soak it for too long period, otherwise, it will be tasteless. What if, it is soaked for too long period, you may add in a little salt.
2. Use your palms to squeeze out the water.
3. Add in the red pepper powder and sugar, mix it well before you add in other seasoning ingredients.


材料 :
黄瓜 50 条
韩式烧酒 “ Soju "  900 ml
醋 900  ml
糖 1 kg
粗盐  6 杯


做法 :
1. 洗干净黄瓜,待干。
2. 将所有的材料混合均匀,糖和盐必须完全溶解, 无需煮沸。
3. 将黄瓜放入容器内, 然后倒入酱料。
4. 倒入酱料后,黄瓜会浮现在上面, 所以最好是放一或两块石头在水面上, 若无石头,可以放入一个小碗或碟子。
5. 置放阴凉处, 约  7 天的时间·,天气热时,盐水里会浮现微白的霉状物,一定要捞出,再放入冰箱保存。

材料:
醃渍黄瓜 2 条

调味料:
辣椒粉 2 tsp
糖 1 tsp
蒜蓉  2 tsp
青葱末 2Tsp
麻油 2tsp
芝麻 1 1/2 tsp
